Hi, my name is Lorraine Faucett-Aichele. I was born and raised right here in Central New York, riding horses as an eight year old child right up through my childhood in 4-H and my adulthood and continuing till now! My horses have always been my best friends through thick and thin of life lessons! I also founded a riding program I called Patchwork Therapeutic Riding Center which will be running from Pure Country Campground again in 2013.
I now live in New Berlin full time. I have many professional affiliations which include: NYS Horse Council, American Trail Horse Competition Association (affiliate, judge and member), NARHA, AQHA, American Paint association, APPALOOSA Horse Association, Judge for Local and Open Shows,specializing in 4-H. Participated in Martha Josey Championship Barrel Racing & Horsemanship School, Participating in Sally Swift Centered Riding Workshops, Participated in Susan Harris Riding Workshops, participated in Alfa-Omega Security Clinic on Horses, Lifelong Leader in Tompkins County 4-H, Groom in Harness Racing in NYS, CPR, Med Certified in NYS. 27 Year employee of NYS, OMRDD, just retired in 2012.
I am the mother of four grown boys, all residing in NYS. My family along with my horses have been an important thread in my life, always. I share with you, my love of horses.
